The Yuengling team in Philadelphia is hard at work with the WMMR bar promotions. The Fire on Girard Avenue held one on Wednesday June 17. The Fire was recently named "Best Venue in Philly for Emerging Artists" by Philadelphia Magazine, so doing a guitar promo there was a perfect fit. This club has had some pretty big names come through over the past few years, including Maroon 5, Damien Rice, Plain White Tees, and John Legend.
DJ Casey from MMR came out to meet fans and offer them chance to win one of the guitars and some other great prizes! Give aways for the night included MMR shirts, Yuengling shirts, iPod holders, Warped Tour tickets, and an i-Pod for the winner of the "Name That Lick" contest. There was a great turn out, and patrons enjoyed Traditional Lager and Lord Chesterfield Ale pints for the special Wednesday price of $3.00.
