David Chaytor, the former Labour MP, has pleaded guilty to three charges of fraud over his expenses. Mr Chaytor, 61, misused £20,000 of 'second home' and office allowances, claiming almost £13,000 for a London flat that he already owned outright. The former Bury North MP appeared at the Old Bailey charged with three counts of theft by false accounting under section 17 of the Theft Act 1968.
