Video- RNC Ad 'Obama's Debt-End Bus Tour '

One minute video below, the ad speaks for itself.

H/T The Note.

Video: Perry's First Campaign Commercial And Michele Bachmann Did Good In Iowa, Until Rick Perry Showed Up

Just a day after Michele Bachmann won the Iowa Ames straw poll, the tide turned a bit for her when Texas Governor Rick perry showed up in town where both candidates attended the Black Hawk County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day dinner.

The Politico reports the contrast of Perry's style of campaigning person-to-person campaigning where he mingles, answers questions and doesn't shy away from interacting with voters, with Bachmann's "celebrity" type campaigning, was duly noted by those in attendance.

But the contrast that may lift Perry, and undermine Bachmann, in their high-stakes battle for Iowa had less to do with what they said than how they said it — and what they did before and after speaking.

Perry arrived early, as did former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum. The Texas governor let a media throng grow and dissolve before working his way across the room to sit at table after table, shake hand after hand, pose for photographs and listen politely to a windy Abraham Lincoln impersonator, paying respect to a state that expects candidates, no matter their fame, to be accessible.

But Bachmann campaigned like a celebrity. And the event highlighted the brittle, presidential-style cocoon that has become her campaign’s signature: a routine of late entries, unexplained absences, quick exits, sharp-elbowed handlers with matching lapel pins, and pre-selected questioners.

She camped out in her bus, parked on the street in front of a nearby Ramada Hotel, until it was time to take the stage. Even after a local official’s introduction, Bachmann was nowhere to be found. It was not until a second staffer assured her that the lighting had been changed and a second introduction piped over the loudspeakers that she entered the former dance hall here. By the time she made her big entrance to bright lights and blaring music, the crowd seemed puzzled.

Bachmann’s stump speech drew mostly polite applause until she closed by giving a large apple pie to “the oldest mother in the room” – a local centenarian.

Then she stayed on stage, signing T-shirts from above, which her staff then distributed to a steady but not overwhelming crowd.

Finally, she swept through what was by then an empty ballroom behind a phalanx of six aides who shielded her from reporters and the handful of Iowans who remained.

Perry has also released his first campaign commercial showing the differences between his record and Obama's dismal failure over the last 2 1/2+ years.

Ouch.. Latest Whitman Ad Shows Jerry Brown Admitting Campaign Promises All Lies

Major freaking Hat Tip To Hot Air for the video below.

Via Hot Air.

The Michael Kinsley definition of politcal gaffe is the accidental telling of an embarrassing truth — and if that’s the case, Jerry Brown committed the ultimate gaffe. Only Brown didn’t commit the gaffe in this campaign; he committed it fifteen years ago in an interview with CNN. Brown told the network that politicians in his experience don’t really have plans for governing, or at least specifically in his own experience. He admitted that he lied in order to win election in 1974, and Meg Whitman pounces on it in this eleventh-hour ad:

Transcript:

Interviewer: You said something a moment ago that I have to follow up on and I have to draw you out on. You said you don’t have to lie anymore now that you’re not a politician. What did you lie about when you were governor?

Jerry Brown: It’s all a lie. You’re pretending there’s a plan…

Interviewer: What did you lie about?

Jerry Brown: You run for office and the assumption is “Oh, I know what to do”. You don’t. I didn’t have a plan for California. Clinton doesn’t have a plan. Bush doesn’t have a plan.

Interviewer: You said you had a plan for California and you lied because you didn’t have a plan?

Jerry Brown: You say you’re going to lower taxes, you’re going to put people to work, you’re gonna improve the schools, you’re going to stop crime… crime is up, schools are worse, taxes are higher. I mean be real!

the hardest hitting ad to date because Whitman is using Brown's own words, his own confession about telling whatever lies he has to in order to win an election.

Citizens for the Republic Video Release: 'Mourning'

Wapo reports a new Citizens for the Republic video release called "Mourning".

This is the thinking behind a powerful new anti-Barack Obama ad that seeks to tap not the nation's anger but its sadness.

"Mourning in America," which is hitting the national airwaves, is a poignant takeoff of Ronald Reagan's iconic "Morning in America" ad. Whatever one's political affiliation, it is impossible to watch this new ad and not feel, well, sad.

Brilliant.

Everyone's angry. But anger is cheap and tired. Rode hard and hung up wet, as we say down South. Most Americans are also sad. The always bountiful America seems on the edge of famine, spiritual if not literal, though the latter seems all too possible as jobs disappear and businesses close.

The ad, which can be viewed on YouTube, cites the latest unemployment and foreclosure statistics, and other facts that illustrate the rupture of the social contract -- the idea that our children could, should and would do better than we. Or at least as well.

VIDEO- Sharron Angle Ad: 'Best Friend' -- Harry Reid, The Best Friend An Illegal Alien Ever Had.

With Harry Reid slipping the DREAM ACT amendment into the defense bill, hoping to force a vote for giving amnesty to illegal aliens that are here because their parents broke our laws and brought their children into the US illegally, this Sharron Angle ad is perfect timing in calling Harry Reid the best friend an illegal alien ever had.

Video below:

Text:

Illegals sneaking across our border, putting Americans safety and jobs at risk and what does Harry Reid do?

He comes out opposed to Arizona's tough new immigration law.

Nevada families struggling with the nation's highest unemployment, Harry Reid, he votes to give special tax breaks to illegal aliens and to give the illegals social security benefits... even for the time they were here illegally.

Harry Reid, the best friend an illegal alien ever had.

Angle's press secretary, Jerry Stacy, states "Harry Reid's support for amnesty and his opposition to Arizona's immigration law stands in direct contrast to what the voters of Nevada want. Senator Reid is out-of-touch with Nevadans in his attempts to give incentives to illegal immigrants while his state's unemployment skyrockets to the worst in the nation."
