Hustler's Publisher, Larry Flynt, Makes Anthony Weiner A Job Offer

Anthony Weiner who just resigned publicly, amid heckler's, cheers and rude comments at his presser yesterday, the Democratic Congressman from New York (Note to Reuters- you need new headline writers since you headlined with Weiner as a Republican)has been offered a new job by Hustler Magazine's publisher, Larry Flynt:

This offer is not made in jest. To show our sincerity, Flynt Management Group, LLC is willing to pay twenty percent more than your former Congressional salary, ensuring that your medical benefits would be equal to what you were previously receiving. While you will have to relocate to our corporate offices in Beverly Hills, California, we would pay for all relocation costs.

Again, I cannot emphasize enough the genuineness of this offer. We are a serious corporation which, as you know, has been heavily involved in the political environment of this country for over thirty-five years. Now perhaps Barbara Walters can breathe a sigh of relief since she expressed so much concern about Weiner's future since he has "never had another job".

I seriously doubt Weiner's wife would appreciate her husband working for Flynt, but hey, a paycheck is a paycheck right?

Weiner is expected to make his resignation official in a statement to the press at 2 p.m. at a senior center in Brooklyn.

After refusing to resign from Congress the day Democratic New York Representative Anthony Weiner confessed to online inappropriate conduct with multiple women, including sexting, sexual private messages and a range of photos from naked chest shots to full out dick pics, it looks like Weiner is finally heeding calls from Republicans and Democrats alike and it is being reporting he will finally resign his seat in Congress.

Following the original scandal it was also reported that Democrats were possibly stripping his committee seats, he encouraged one woman to lie about their communications, had private online contact with a minor (not sexual but investigated by police) and that his wife finally returned home after the nearly three week controversy rocked Weiner's world.

Weiner could have saved himself and his wife much humiliation had he resigned the day he issued his confession that the photos and reports were all true and he wasn't hacked (as he originally lied to the public about) but had indeed sent out the lewd photos himself.

Had he done so there probably still would have been sporadic reports when new information or photos emerged, it would not have been the constant firestorm that the last few weeks of straight Weiner news has been around the Internet and in the media.

UH OH- Police Investigating Anthony Weiner Messages To Underage Girl

Patterico's Pontifications has been reporting this angle for days, first with "Evidence That Weiner Was Talking Dirty to Underage Girls? Part 2," Then yesterday with Part 3, but now news reports are coming out the the police are investigating Anthony Weiner's online communication with an underage girl.

NEW CASTLE, Del. -- Police on Friday afternoon came to the home of a 17-year-old high school junior to ask her about direct online communications she has had with Rep. Anthony Weiner.

Two officers from the New Castle County Police Department arrived at the girl's home around 4:30 p.m. and asked to speak with the girl's mother about the daughter's contact with Weiner. Another officer appeared at the home a short time later. A FoxNews.com reporter was at the home when the police arrived.

The girl, whose name is being withheld because she is a minor, told FoxNews.com, "I'm doing OK.

While the pathetic major media outlets are busy focusing on emails from Sarah Palin, some news organizations are reporting actual news involving a sitting Democratic New York Congressman.

[Update 6/11/11] Weiner admits to messages with the underage girl in question, but reports say nothing in those messages were criminal in nature. (In other words, no sexual content in those private messages)

“According to Congressman Weiner, his communications with this person were neither explicit nor indecent,” said the statement.

On Saturday morning, the New York Post and the New York Daily News reported that the New Castle cops had not found anything wrong in Weiner’s exchanges with the teen-ager.

“They were made aware of an alleged contact between Congressman Anthony Weiner and an area teen,” said New Castle County police spokeswoman Officer Tracey Duffy, according to the Post. “The teen has been interviewed and disclosed no information regarding any criminal activity.”

The parents were aware of the communications but assumed they were via the public Twitter messages and say they were unaware of the private ones.

This brings us to the question of whether private messaging with an underage girl is appropriate or inappropriate and if there are any more underage girls he was sending private communications to.

It comes down to perception in the end.

Had his online sexual escapades not become public or better yet had they not occurred at all, would anyone even blink over a Congressman sending an innocent note or two to a 17 year old who seemed to have a crush on him?

Perhaps.

I keep thinking about the time before Internet was a huge communication hub.

If an underage girl sent a communication to an older public official and the official wanted to encourage their interest in politics, would they meet with the kid in public to be "nice" or would they suggest a private setting for a meeting?

The perception of the public meeting would be the official was interactive with constituents and encouraging to minors that would perhaps someday choose to go into politics or become politically active.

The perception of a private meeting could be it was inappropriate as the girl in question's parents seem to think.

Weiner's Weiner Unveiled

In a very amusing turn of events, unless you are Anthony Weiner that is, Andrew Breitbart appeared on a satellite radio show of shock jocks Opie and Anthony, he showed the host Gregg Hughes aka "Opie" the X-rated photo he had previously refused to publish of Anthony Weiner's .... weiner.

Opie snapped a picture of the image without Breitbart's permission and now it is all over the Internet. Ironically, because the original underwear covered crotch-shot photo that started this whole Weinergate saga, was published via Yfrog, Opie used the same service to publish the graphic uncovered dick pic.

You can see it for yourself here, although it isn't much to look at.

Seems the first photo released to start the whole scandal and the last most graphic of photos, both using Yfrog and Twitter, all bring this story full circle.

Talk about bad timing, City Room is reporting that Anthony Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, is pregnant.

“In regards to the photo of Anthony Weiner that was leaked by members of The Opie And Anthony show on 6/8, I want to make it clear that Andrew Breitbart had no knowledge that this photo was being made public. A phone with the photo was being displayed and a camera in the studio caught it. It was then uploaded to twitter [sic], again, without Andrew Breitbarts [sic] knowledge.”

Weinergate Ridiculous Item Of The Day: Liberal Doubles Down By Claiming Weiner Confession Is A Lie

Anyone with a computer or a television or any interest in politics at all, yesterday saw Andrew Breitbart vindicated very very publicly when Anthony Weiner confessed that every single thing Breitbart reported about him, from the original crotch shot photo sent via Twitter on May 27th, 2011 to the subsequent information provided by Breitbart about multiple online sexual dalliances on the part of Weiner, was true..

All of it, true.

I provide both videos, first Breitbart answering media questions before the the Weiner confession presser and Weiners full statement and question and answer period, here at my ANDREW BREITBART VINDICATED post.

The events as they unfolded throughout the day leading to those two press conferences, were spread out between two separate posts as news and photos were provided throughout the day. Those are found here and here.

I asked after Weiner confessed to it all, every single thing Breitbart reported over the last two weeks, whether the liberal pundits and bloggers who had done everything in their power to discredit Breitbart, claiming he manipulated the photos, hacked into Weiner's account, made up the story... etc etc etc, whether they would offer up their own mea culpa and admit they were wrong and apologize to Andrew Breithbart.

Credit where it is due, some of the media, who ignored the story, or deliberately tried to cast doubt on the factual reporting Breitbart did so wonderfully, are now providing a few of their own mea culpas.

Liberal pundits and television personalities though are a whole other ballgame... some like Jon Stewart simply ignore their own prior comments, others like Barbara Walters have lost total "reporter creds" status, and others simply outright refuse to apologize for not only being wrong but for going after Breitbart and making false accusations against him, even after Weiner confessed Breitbart was 100 percent correct in every report.

The ridiculous item of the day though comes from someone living in complete denial (and may need medication) who, from the very beginning, latched onto some of the worst over-the-top explanations imaginable, the unidentified, fictional, "prankster" "hacker" or "hoaxster (all of which Weiner initially tried to blame everything on) hacked into Weiner's Yfrog and/or Twitter accounts is just one example.

They headlined that day with "CASE CLOSED! CONGRESSMAN WEINER WAS FRAMED!"

After yesterday's events, that headline is downright hysterically funny.

Wow did liberal bloggers jump on that one, even though it was debunked the very same day.

Even yesterday as incriminating, time lined photo after photo was being doled out by Breitbart, this Cannonfire fool continued to try to explain, justify or simply make up story after story about how Breitbart was wrong.

Which brings us to today.

A day after Anthony Weiner was forced to come clean, as story after story popped up, woman after woman spoke, and are still speaking out, about their relationship with him, sexual messages revealed from Weiner to online women became public and after Weiner finally admitted in front of the media that the original crotch shot which started this whole saga, did indeed, come from him, he put it up at Yfrog, he sent it to the young woman in question.... he admitted to everything.

Today, Cannonfire insists that not only he wasn't wrong about the original picture that Weiner admits to sending out as a "joke", but that Weiners confession was a lie and Weiner really didn't sent it out at all!!!!

Yes, really.

In Cannonfire's twisted logic, Weiner admitted to the original Tweeted crotch shot photo to "Get it over with as soon as possible."

Yes, in that warped mind, Anthony Weiner admitted to sending that original photo out, which created a firestorm in the media and blogosphere, to just make the whole thing go away.

His confession according to the piece linked above, was a lie.

Let's say in Bizarro world Cannonfire was right and Weiner's intention was to make everything go away and the writer says that he would have done that very thing.

That would make Weiner and the Cannonfire writer even more stupid than the original lying was because it didn't go away, it gave way to:

ANDREW BREITBART VINDICATED

The details of today are at my two previous posts here and here, but this one announcing that Andrew Breitbart has been vindicated deserves it's own post.

Anthony Weiner after a day of dribbled photos he sent to as many as 6 women over the last few years, before he was married and after, has now admitted that everything reported by Breitbart was true.

The original crotch shot that Weiner denied sending... yup, he admits sending it now. The photos Breitbart published today.. yup, he admits sending them. He also admits there are more out there and probably far more graphic.

He was responsible for it all and he lied to try to get out of it and was willing to let Andrew Breibart be accused of falsifying photos, hacking, lying and a bunch of others things by Weiner supporters and members of the left blogosphere, like the writer of Cannonfire just to name one.

He apologized and was forced to list Breitbart among the other media he was apologizing to but so far, those that tried to destroy Breitbart with false accusations... not running to their computers to say sorry.

I can't really say with "certitude" if they will ever get around to it or not either.

Some may, we will see.

In the meantime, thank you Andrew Breitbart for staying with the story and for forcing Weiner to admit he publicly lied for over a week to his family, friends, constituents, supporters and the media.

“Andrew, would you go to the podium?” WCBS reporter Marcia Kramer, who just days earlier was threatened with arrest when she staked out Weiner’s congressional office in Washington, asked.

After a few requests, he agreed. Breitbart questioned whether Weiner was paying to rent the ballroom, and said it was perhaps not wrong to take the podium in that case. But he went up anyway.

Final update on this thread, here on top- Weiner finally took the podium and says he is going to "clear up some of the questions" and "take responsibility" he is sorry, he has not been honest" and he says he DID send that original tweet, then lied about sending it because he panicked.

Apologizes to the woman, constituents, family, and staff.

Now he says he has exchanged explicit messages and photos with 6 women, some before some after his marriage.

NOT RESIGNING

He is taking questions now.

Weiner says he doesn't "believe" he ever used his government resources or domains.

Question: When will the left apologize for accusing Breitbart of lying??? Waiting.........

Says wife didn't know until this morning that he sent that original dic pic.

He apologized to Breitbart and all other media!!!!! Now will the liberal left bloggers like Cannonfire apologize to Breitbart?

To the best of his knowledge the women were all adults but they could have been fibbing about it.

He doesn't see anything he has done that violated rules of the House.... maybe ethics inquiry should be deciding that.

Consider this new thread an update #3 from the previous one because it looks like this will be a long day for Anthony Weiner and liberals across the Internet. Photos will be put up here as soon as Breitbart provides them.

This is a followup thread from the one earlier this morning explaining in a quick rundown what the whole Weinergate saga is about and the reporting that Andrew Brietbart's Big Journalism and Big Government has evidence they are doling out carefully throughout the day from another woman providing Breitbart with Weiner photos.

Breitbart has started with the small stuff like Democratic New York Representative Anthony Weiner holding up a photo, sent via his AOL account with his Blackberry with a sign saying "it's me". The second photo sent from AnthonyWeiner@aol.com via BlackBerry on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 has the email subject line of “Me and the pussys” and show Weiner sitting next to his cat.



So far nothing too damaging, just showing a pattern of Anthony Weiner communicating in a manner that cannot be considered "pro- forma" and the dates of the emails show that these were sent to the unnamed new woman while Weiner was married.

Breitbart's original story this morning did state "We will be updating BigGovernment.com and BigJournalism.com throughout the day with photographs, timelines, and other clarifying details. However, we will not be releasing all of the material because some of it is of an extreme, graphic nature."

New York Magazine seems to be waiting for the damaging material with trepidation as evidenced by their ending sentence:

So far, nothing overtly sexual. But every time we refresh Big Government, we're a little scared about what we'll see next.

Interestingly enough the far left liberal side of the blogosphere is being very very quiet right now about this, even those that made such an attempt to discredit the now infamous crotch shot Weiner scandal last week.

I would hazard a guess that they, like NY Magazine, are hitting refresh on Breitbart's site before attempting to spin anything and probably with the same amount of trepidation.

Also, no word from Anthony Weiner on these latest revelations.

Now Radar Online reports that a woman has come forward (no idea if it is the same one Breitbart is releasing photos from) who says "she has 200 sexually explicit messages from Weiner from a Facebook account the Democratic politician no longer uses."

Radar Online is keeping the woman's name secret but they report that they have verified that this woman is listed as a friend of Weiner's on his Facebook page.

More at Breitbart's sites say the woman claims that the now infamous crotch shot was also sent to her from the same Yahoo address attached to the email and another email with a photo attached that Breitbart describes as "is extremely graphic, and leaves nothing to the imagination."

The left is still being so quiet. I wonder if their heads exploded because it is Breitbart that is publishing these photos

[Update] ABC has an interview with the woman and determining when to broadcast it.

Mr. Breitbart, a provocative scourge of the political left, said in an interview that he knows who the woman is and that she would be stepping forward shortly to explain how she came into possession of the photos.

“You’re going to know who this person is by tomorrow,” Mr. Breitbart said. “She is going to come out of her anonymity in a very short time. She will be coming forward to communicate the means by which she received these photos. I think it will be clear that she is telling the truth.”

An ABC News official said that the network has conducted an interview with a woman, who says she received the photos from Mr. Weiner, evidently the same photos Mr. Breitbart obtained.

As of this afternoon, the network was determining when it would broadcast the interview.

[Update] Breitbart is saying he thinks Weiner owes him an apology for being "complicit" in allowing his minions to blame the messenger by accusing Breitbart of lying after exposing Weiner's original crotch shot.

Breitbart also says he is holding back a very explicit photo and has no intention of publishing it.

Another Women Comes Forward About Anthony Weiner

My quick background from the other day so we are all caught up and on the same page:

Long story short, New York Democratic Representative Anthony Weiner's Twitter account listed publicly a Yfrog link to a picture of a underwear covered crotch shot of an erect penis. Weiner then deleted it immediately and claimed he was hacked, then that it was a prank against him, but could not say with "certitude" it was not a photo of him.

Yesterday a statement from Yfrog came out confirming that their email upload service had not been compromised, blowing the hacking claim out of the water and The Daily reported that the same application that Weiner was using the night in question, was used in that particular Tweet.

The other day I listed a few questions still left, one of which was "4) How many other women are going to eventually come out of the wood work claiming he sent them an underwear covered W/weiner photo?"

Today, Big Journalism provides the first: (Also at Big Government)

A new woman has come forward with what she claims are photographs, chats, and emails with Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY). These appear to undermine severely Rep. Weiner’s explanations that he was the victim of a “prank” or a “hack.”

The detailed new information suggests that the Brooklyn- and Queens-based representative and the young woman in question were involved in an online, consensual relationship involving the mutual exchange of intimate photographs.

BigGovernment.com and BigJournalism.com were approached regarding this information more than a week prior to the separate, independent event of Friday, May 27, 2011, when a link to the now-infamous “gray underwear” photograph appeared publicly on Rep. Weiner’s Twitter feed.

They say they will be updating their sites throughout the day with photographs, timelines, and other clarifying details but not everything they have because of the graphic nature of some of it.

This leads me to believe that not only do they have the evidence against Anthony Weiner showing that his now infamous crotch shot isn't the only one floating around, which would be why he couldn't say with "certitude" that it wasn't his underwear covered erect penis, but that he has a certain pattern of online sexual mischief.

If Big Government does have more evidence and provides it to the public as they are promising to do, the question of why Anthony Weiner has refused to allow an official investigation into the so-called "hacking" or "prank", will have been answered clearly.

No worries though, it really doesn't matter because "he's a Democrat", right?

Yfrog: Email Upload Feature 'Not Comprised'- Ball Is Back In Weiner's Court

Yfrog was the service that the now infamous crotch-shot that Democratic New York Representative Anthony Weiner cannot say with "certitude" is not his, was uploaded to, and it was a Yfrog link that was used on Anthony Weiner's Twitter account that led to the underwear covered crotch-shot.

Weiner claimed his account had been hacked and other liberal bloggers have tried to assert that Yfrog's security was compromised.

Statement from Yfrog:

After confirming that our email upload feature has not been compromised in any way - it is now active again (from 5 pm PST today). We appreciate your patience as we work to assure user safety and security. Please always maintain secure passwords and do not share email secret PINs with anyone. Please contact us at is-support@imageshack.us with any questions, if you want your PINs changed or disabled.

In other words, one cannot upload photos to Yfrog with just a username, as some had alleged. Nor has Yfrog’s e-mail upload system been hacked or compromised. One might suspect from the quick and categorical conclusion to their probe that they may have some fairly convincing evidence of the origin of Rep. Weiner’s tweet and photo. If Weiner really is interested in getting to the bottom of this, he could ask Yfrog to release that information to the public, or at least send investigators to retrieve it and find the culprits.

What they provide is not proof positive that Weiner did or didn't post that pic himself, but his story and outlandish conspiracy theories are being debunked left and right.

The final paragraph pretty much says it all:

“Here’s the thing that solves it all,” said McCroskey, “for him to call for a criminal investigation. All they have to do is look at his TweetDeck and see if it came from there, see what IP address [it had]. The local police department or Capitol Police could probably figure this out in 15 minutes.”

Yes, that is pretty much what everyone has been saying and the longer Weiner procrastinates and refuses to let the authorities do their job and get that IP, the more guilty Weiner appears.

The while Weinergate saga, while amusing to watch the left attempt to spin out of control and Weiner to put his foot in his mouth over and over again making things exponentially worse for himself, has had side stories branching off.

Long story short, New York Democratic Representative Anthony Weiner's Twitter account listed publicly a Yfrog link to a picture of a underwear covered crotch shot of an erect penis. Weiner then deleted it immediately and claimed he was hacked, then that it was a prank against him, but could not say with "certitude" it was not a photo of him.

Ok, caught up.

Liberal Tommy Christopher over at MediaIte has spent days untangling, confirming, verifying what did and what did not happen, and how accusations against Andrew Breitbart, to which Christopher is no fan, of perpetrating a hoax against Weiner, were completely unfounded.

On page #4 of the five-page report over at MediaIte, Christopher reveals something even more disturbing, which is not entertaining at all but instead shows a lack of any and all integrity on the part of Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas.

Christopher discovered that a diary over at Daily Kos posted a speculation piece which included the names of minors, children, and emailed Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas immediately to ask him to protect the children and redact the names.

That’s a community member’s post. Not my staff. I don’t exert editorial control over what the community writes absent legal imperatives or deeply offensive material. Right now, I’m seeing neither.

I’m not sure I get why you want me to pull that. Those DMs appear relevant to the story. As I understand it, those two individuals injected themselves into a political smear effort, why should they be protected now?

Open to a counter argument that has nothing to do with protecting your source.

Well, he has removed it from his YFrog. Probably not out of decency, but now, you’re the only obstacle to their safety. I really can’t believe you’re doing this. I hope you think better of it.

It disgusts me to see any person behave this way, particularly a fellow liberal. It is my hope that he rethinks this, or that enough of my fellow liberals (he’s not likely to be persuaded by conservatives) encourage him (perhaps via Twitter) to do the right thing, and protect these girls. Their parents are sick with worry over this, and the frustrating part is that I promised them, every step of the way, that I would protect them, that I would kill the story rather than risk harm to these girls.

The #Weinergate saga has had amusing moments, cringe worthy moments, outright WTF moments but this, this callous refusal to protect children without giving up the integrity of beliefs, is beyond disgusting and beyond morally and ethically bankrupt on the part of Markos Moulitsas.

Sickening is about the only word that comes close to describing Moulitsas.

New York Representative Anthony Weiner cannot say with certitude" that the underwear covered weiner in the dic-pic yfrog link sent to a college coed and ended up blasted all over the Internet, isn't his, but he is still claiming he didn't actually post that link and someone was just playing a prank on him.

This brings up another whole set of issues because if he won't deny he has like-type photos and is claiming that his Twitter, Yfrog and Facebook pages were hacked, but he doesn't see this as a level of crime that should warrant taxpayer money be spent investigating something that he calls a prank, then lets take this a step further.

If, indeed, he has photos on his computer, how did the supposed "hackers" or "pranksters" get those photos? Was his computer hacked as well by those mischievous little pranksters?

If so.......

The primary federal law enforcement agencies that investigate domestic crime on the Internet include: the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the United States Secret Service, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) , the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) . We are talking a crime here if Weiner is to be believed right? One of the many interviewers he allowed to question him on this was very clear in stating the FBI told them that it would take 5 minutes to get the information of what IP address sent that link.

Not a whole lot of taxpayer money to help capture a criminal right?

Weiner tells Rachel Maddow "anything to unravel this important mystery, I will do." (Except having the FBI make a phone call and find out the IP of the person who allegedly sent the link of his weiner)

Then you have members of the left trying to outdo each other on showing how Weiner's accounts could have been hacked or how the hoax was perpetrated which is immediately debunked by others.

Either way, a whole lot of time, ink, interviews are now focused on Anthony Weiner's little weiner.

#Weinergate over on Twitter is still going a mile a minute and at this point as some are pointing out, the jokes are just writing themselves.

Memeorandum shows that the level of focus hasn't wavered a bit almost a week into the story and the conspiracy theories are getting more and more complex.

Ace of Spades is trying to ruin everyone's fun by pointing out the obvious, uncomplicated, most likely truth, is the one staring everyone in the face.... Weiner accidentally sent the link publicly when he meant to send it privately and deleted it immediately but not before someone grabbed the photo.

What a killjoy Ace is huh?

Some questions left. 1) How many of Weiner's new Twitter followers are hoping to get a dic-pic? 2) How many men would like to have their penis talked about across the country for so long? 3)Wouldn't Weiner know if that was his own penis and chicken legs? 4) How many other women are going to eventually come out of the wood work claiming he sent them an underwear covered W/weiner photo?

I know news is slow this weekend, I understand this. I also understand when a politician enters politics he is tossing out any hope of privacy. I also get that when a bad joke slaps you in the face, you have to go with it and have a little fun.

But to turn photos of Representative Anthony Weiner's underwear covered bulging weiner into 'Weinergate' surpasses boredom and makes me want to bleach my eyes.

Quick rundown, Weiner's yfrog account (an online image-sharing site) produced a photo of a man in underwear sporting a bulge. Weiner says his yfrog account and his Twitter account was hacked and he didn't put those photos up.

Just to add more punchlines to this joke, the photo was sent to a female co-ed that Tweeted earlier "I wonder what my boyfriend @RepWeiner is up to right now." (See screen shot of that tweet here)

Bottom line: Three people know the whole truth, the co-ed, Weiner and his wife who would know what his weiner looks like in undies and whether or not he even owns gray undies.
