"Aaron Schmidt decided enough is enough.
He quietly proclaimed this last year as he donated his car to charity, trading it in for two tires, a seat, pedals and a handle bar.
Schmidt, 27, a Cal State Fullerton English graduate student, decided to purify and simplify his life by breaking through societal norms and living a car-free life.
Instead of heading to the pumps weekly, Schmidt has developed what he calls a more-creative way of living."
