San Francisco Mayor Commits to Bikes
Announced at Bike to Work Day 2007
Bike SF 2010 Milestones
Good luck, Gav.
It's a great start.
UPDATE: San Francisco Bike Commuters Outnumber Cars on Bike to Work Day for First Time!
The eastbound bikers who pedaled past the official city nose counters at Market Street and Van Ness Avenue didn't seem to mind, however. According to the tally by the Municipal Transportation Agency, 622 bikes and 477 cars went through the intersection from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Last year on Bike to Work Day, there were slightly more cars than bikes.
