Alaska's Aleutian Islands were rocked by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said a tsunami warning was in effect for the coastal areas of Alaska from Unimak Pass to Amchitka Pass. (Source)
The warning covers an area from 80 miles northeast of Dutch Harbor to about 125 miles west of Adak.
