The Jesus Accounts - Fact or Fiction? - Premiere 5th June 2010

A 30 minute film by Firm Foundation Trust shows how our gospels are based on good evidence, significant ancient manuscripts, eyewitness accounts and much more. The premiere of this DVD will be at St Nicholas Church, Sevenoaks, Kent on 5th June 2010 at 7.30pm. Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali will be the guest speaker.

What was the attitude of early Keswick to social reform? Well, it can be summed up in the words of that great theologian the Rev A.W. Awdry: "It's not wrong... but we just don't do it"!

Society is being bombarded with misinformation about the Bible. It has allegedly been corrupted by power-hungry Christians who are charged with having omitted books they did not like. They changed the original message of Jesus.
When these wide-spread claims are made in the media, most Christians don't know how to respond or what to say in support of the trustworthiness of the New Testament. Some have their faith shaken.

This day conference brings together experts who will:

Expose false claims about the New Testament

Show how the New Testament can be trusted

Equip ordinary Christians to share their faith with confidence

I came across this review of the The Voice - which is being promoted by Brian D. Mclaren and others in the emerging church movement. It looks like developing into an interesting series. Well worth a read.
