Giving Developing Countries "The Internet in a Box"
Since its inception a major aim of the Theology on the Web project has been to make available high quality theological material in countries where it would otherwise be impossible to obtain. Being part of the Widernet Project goes a long way towards making that vision a reality. Run by the University of Ohio the E-Granary Project now provides Universities in developing countries with 750GB of data from selected websites on a hard drive - effectively giving them "the Internet in a Box". I warmly commend the project - you can read their latest newsletter here.
