So, there will be no financial support for LDV, the Midlands based van maker. All the bailout money is needed for banks and propping up the housing market. Although the company has suffered terribly from the credit crunch, with over half its sales falling in the last three months, New Labour simply isn't interested.
What a strange listing of priorities; finance before manufacturing; asset values before jobs.
