The success of another St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah, GA was enhanced by the participation of the Savannah School of Art & Design (SCAD) in creating a Yuengling St Patrick’s poster & t-shirt for the 2010 celebration. Students from SCAD submitted their work utilizing elements of Yuengling into a design celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah. The five finalists were selected and the winning design was featured on posters and t-shirts distributed throughout the Savannah market area. The participation of SCAD in the creation of the official Yuengling St Patrick’s logo was well received by the local bars and restaurants and a key to assisting our efforts to prominently feature the Yuengling portfolio during the week.
The Yuengling Stage on Jefferson Square was again a focus of the downtown celebration and the large crowds in attendance were treated to live performances by popular bands and received free Yuengling shirts and novelties. The pouring stations featured Yuengling Black & Tan and Yuengling Lager; Yuengling brands were the top choice for all in attendance. Thank you to our wholesale partner Southern Eagle Distributing for their outstanding efforts in preparing for this event. The visibility of Yuengling was overwhelming throughout the downtown area and the preparations by Southern Eagle ensured all Yuengling fans could enjoy Yuengling brands in every account on the downtown square.
